Can't logout of the forums with my new IBM 60gxp and win2k. Please Help!!!

Hi, I am using a fresh install of win2k on my new ibm hd and can't logout of the forums once I am in. Me and my brother sometimes use the same comp. and we have to switch users but I can't logout on the forums. I have via 4 in 1's installed with IE 5.5. The system is a duron 800 on an abit kt7a mobo. I have never had this problem before but I installed winme on this same comp and it did the same exact thing. Please help me out
 
What do ya think can cause it. This has never happened before when I installed win2k previously

silly question really but have you tried clicking the logout tab at the top right??
 
Also make sure you disable any proxy filtering software like AdSubtract as it might stop the cookie being removed/unset. Just disable any software that might interfer and then logout and see what happens.
