Can't login to comment on storys

Ideas? Logging in forums ok (as you can tell). But when try to login to reply to storys (like contests!!) says my username and password are incorrect. Weird.

I can log into forums, but the forum login will not allow me to login on the main AnandTech site.

There is a link on the main site login page to register as a new user, but the link is broken.

Iv been having the same problem and when I goto this link and fill it out it tells me this.
There was an error adding your account - either you have an invalid username (no special characters are allowed) or an email address that is either not allowed or already in use. Please try again.

Do we need two different accounts for Anandtech (one for the main site and another for the forums)?
