can't login - have i been banned?

i'm doing this from the only browser that doesn't seem to have punted me off at. all my other browsers show me logged off (tho i didn't!) and i can't log back on. have i been banned? if so, why? i wonder if this post will be accepted ...

already tried all the cookie tricks ... think it was a problem in my profile. the "password" and "verification" fields were of different lengths ... obviously couldn't match! wonder how the heck that happened? anyway, all seems good now, fixed the password and now i can log in again .. wew!
