Hi
I'm having trouble logging into all of yahoo and also netzero email.
I have two computers on my home network and can't get in from either one.

I used a computer at work and can get right into both of them.

anybody ever heard of this?

thanks

I assume that you're using IE. Can you access any other secure sites that require a login? Try Firefox.

yes I can access my banking

I was able to access yahoo and netzero till about a week ago, now every time I try to log on I get "the page cannot be displayed"

I'm begining to think it's somehow caused by my ISP

thanks
scott

yes trying firefox right now, here is what I get
and this was just for yahoo.com not even a secure page

Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at www.yahoo.com

* Check the address for typing errors such as
ww.example.com instead of
www.example.com

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Odd to say the least.

[*]check your hosts file
[*]try new DNS servers
[*]disconnect your router and connect directly to your cable/dsl/other modem - power cycle the modem
[*]Write down your current IP (whatismyip.com) from your ISP. If you have a dynamic IP from your cable or dsl provider, log into your router and clone a new mac address, reboot the cable or dsl modem and you may be issued a new IP

well I guess it was the router
although I tried a couple days ago without the router and still no go.

I restored the router to factory defaults, rebooted a few things and away I went.

thank you guys for your assistance.
