Can't log into Safari

I'm sending this in for a friend, and I'm a PC guy so pardon my lack of knowledge on the subject.
He has a MAC and just last night could not log into Safari to get online.He gets this error message-"Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand".
He told me he's using Leopard, and thats all the info I have.
Any help is greatly appreciated
 
Sounds like there is just an issue with his default home page. Just type a different site into the address bar and see if that works.
