Can't Log In From Work

When I try to log into the forums at work I get the message that I don't have authority to log in. It's a stand alone comupter, with dial up connection, running WinXP. It's not the firewall, running Nortans at work and it's not blocking the web site, it's not the popup blocker, turned that off.

Does anyone have any idea why I wouldn't be able to log in from work, but I can from home with no problem?

Exactly what I was thinking. I didn't think any businesses use dialup for internet anymore. Didn't think any home users would either..

I work at a SMALL engraving shop. No broadband at work, just as home.

I've been using AOL for quite some time and have been wanting to get rid of it, just never did it.

I would never use an ISP that required me to install all sorts of crap to use the internet, especially for a business. Congrats on moving away from it. :thumbsup:

NetZero & Juno both will offer you 10hr free per month.

They also have a $10/month package for unlimited and they do not install all the crap that AOL does.

Those referenced ISP are not blocked by Anandtech

We used to use it for testing, since some of our clients still had it.
