Can't listen to an audio stream with OSX 10.4.9

Have a Macbook with 10.4.9. I can't get a stream from the below link to play, it just downloads a .asf file that appears to be useless. I tried Windows Media Player for Mac and that didn't work either. Any help?

Both Flip4Mac and VLC fail here... Can a Windows user confirm that this is a Mac specific problem?

Running Windows XP SP2, file loaded in Winamp fine.

asx is a deprecated Windows Media file.

Its really just a text file linking to an actual stream.

Possibly try and see if VLC can open this with "Open Location" or "Open Stream". Something on the file menu like that. Also see if Quicktime with Flip4Mac can..
