I cannot set the default save location for apps from the Microsoft store to my D drive. When I navigate to Settings > System > Storage > Where to Save New Apps, I select the D drive from the drop down menu and select Apply. I receive an 0x80070005 error every time, but it doesn't give me real info on what is wrong.

I have recently installed a number of games from the Microsoft store to my D drive, so I am confused as to why this is happening now. My C drive is just a 128 GB boot SSD, so I don't have space for downloads there. I have Windows updated to the latest version as well.

Have you tried to run WSRESET.EXE from an elevated command prompt followed by a system restart to reset the Windows Store cache?

I feel that the whole MS Store/Windows 10 install management is half baked at this point. I too have issues - I can select my E: drive as the install location in the windows dialog, however, it doesn't show up when choosing an installation directory from the Windows store. Luckily, once installed, I can move the program to a different drive from within the Windows storage configuration screen.
