Cant install winamp after it was removed?

I removed winamp because it was breaking up when playing music. Ran registry cleaner once the app was removed. I reinstalled winamp from the winamp website and when I install it, it always goes back to the winamp setup box after I select a skin. Does anyone have any ideas on why this is not working? Thanks
 
Your registry cleaner probably broke something - in general, the majority of them aren't worth the effort of running. Many of them offer an option to back up the registry before you make changes. If so, restore the backup. If not, do you have a restore point saved that you can revert to?

You may have to refer the problem to Nullsoft support.

Agreed, this is what I was thinking to when I clicked on this thread. Go to either just before the registry clean or just before the uninstall itself.

Hope you didn't turn off restore points trying to save a few Gigs of space, they are pretty nice at a time like this.
