Can't install scanner in winxp pro

i got this scanner Digital Research Technology from my father's friend but without drivers or software (he lost it)
i found their website http://www.dr-tech.com/drivers/cards.html
so there are like 3 scanner drivers all .exe
i download that file and install it, and nothing happens..... i don't know what to do... please help
 
not all scanners are supported by XP! 🙁
did you d/l XP compatible drivers?
what sort of scanner is it, usb or parallel port?
