Can't install my Kingston 10/100 PCI network card

This is an old system I got from some friend and I re-installed the OS system of win98 2nd edition. CPU is Pentium MMX 200 and it has 32MB memory. I have a Kingston PCI network card and I tried to plug it in. The driver files were from kingston's website so there shouldn't be any problem. But there was. System will be freezed during the startup process, with an error message of "MPREXE caused an invalid page fault of module mprserv.dll at ... "

I did a research on internet and I did found something related. It said that Win95 had this bug if the screen saver's password is longer than 14 characters. Someone suggested to delete all the pwl file to avoid this problem. I tried but failed. It still exist. If I pulled the card off, everything was fine. Any clue? Thanks!
