Can't install IO-shield properly (Resolved)

Does anyone know why one side of the IO-opening on the Bitfenix Enso case is formed as a tube? It's been a while since I built a PC, and I have never seen that design before. I can't install the IO-shield properly because of it, unless there is something I am missing. Motherboard is Asus Prime Z370-A

All you have to do is pop the shield in. You can see the little studs on the shield, there's 1 1/2 sticking out the top, with the third one hidden on the left side. Those need to pop onto the outside, and go all the way around the shield. I don't blame you for being careful, the i/o shields seem really fragile. Just put the pressure onto the outer rim of the shield and you should be fine.

I've been noticing this more lately too.

I don't know whether it's more cases running too tight, or I/O shields running too big, but when the two problems meet, the solution is indeed more brute force than you should EVER have to use to assemble a PC.

Good luck.
