Can't install driver for Desktop Monitor

Hi, so I bought an Acer XB270HU. It doesn't allow 144 Hz in the monitor settings. I tried to download and install a driver from the Acer website. It finds the .inf file but when I try to use it, it says that "hashvalue is missing". What does that mean?

I'm about to RMA the product but I want to double-check before I do. Anyone got a clue?
