I have a Buffalo WHR-G45S and I've successfully installed the firmware but I"m having trouble accessing my router. Whenever I type in 192.168.11.1 it's as if my router isn't even there. I've powered cycled many times and I've also released and renewed the ip. Btw, I'm able to reinstall the default firmware without any problems so I know I did not screw anything up royally. Any suggestions???

Um, if you've installed the DDWRT firmware, the IP is no longer 192.168.11.1. I believe the default for this firmware is 192.168.1.1 Just look at your default gw address when you renew your DHCP when connected to the router. That address is the IP of the router.

The router will be now be accessible on 192.168.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.0. You will need to change your IP to this range to access it for configuration. In other words, change your static IP from 192.168.11.2 to 192.168.1.2. (For the WB2-G54, the router is still accessible at 192.168.11.1).

You didn't read the documentation, did you? :p
