I get the error msg:

"Error extracting support files:

The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect"

I've tried redling them several times and other versions as well..

Get the drivers from ATI. Select the powered by ATI drivers. If you had those download them again downloaded file could have been messed up. Are you using XP I forgot I was using a guest account once and couldn't install anything.

You must install the drivers first and reboot, and only then will you be able to install the control panel.

Sounds like a corrupted file to me. Try extracting the files with winzip into a temp folder and installing them.

You need the version that goes with the display driver your using. I would get driver cleaner uninstall the video drivers and the control panel and reinstall.
