can't install catalysts drivers!!! FIXED

i switched my 9600 pro back to my old 9500 pro, and now i can't install the catalyst drivers, which i uninstalled because my comp would flash a message that there wasn't hardware for the Ati control panel and froze my comp...
what am i supposed to do?

error is : setup failed to run installation (0x80040707)
