Can't install Acer monitor drivers

I'm having trouble installing the Acer drivers. Every time I do, Vista insists on using the generic ones, and won't let me install the actual ones. Any ideas?

To my knowledge you don't need monitor drivers in Vista. Just install your graphics card's drivers and you are set.

Vista basically automatically updates drivers for things like the monitor. You shouldn't run into any problems using the vista drivers.
