I have the same issue with the quote button while replying to a post. I had to manually insert "quote" tags. I can't go on like this.

The +quote button is to enable multi-quoting, not to quote the post above it . If you want to quote a post use the reply button at the bottom of that post. If you just want to make a post in the thread that is not addressing a particular statement by someone else, use the reply window at the bottom of the page and the "post reply" button.

Musta have changed since the xenforo update from 2 days ago because I've used the +quote button for single replies exclusively since the switch last summer.

Thanks for your reply.

I see. Then the multiquote thingy is not working correctly.

I just tried to multi-quote 2 posts & got this:

Hi-liting the text & adding quotes in the post worked though.

same here. this is functionality that was working fine a week ago.

This has been Br0k3 for me for the last week or so as well.

Kinda of a PITA to attempt to steer discussion-flow with quotations.

I mistakenly posted a new thread on this and was informed that this thread existed. But it doesn't seem that there have been any updates in terms of a fix for the problem. I assume it's being worked on either by the vendor or the admins but could someone perhaps let us know the status? Maybe an ETA too if possible?

The multi quoting still seems pretty borked I suppose.

I guess the fact you can not see where you have posted at in the past in some threads, and land where you were before might just be a rebuilding the database issue so many times.

ops sorry just noticed you are working on it already anyway....

Same here win 7 chrome.

Yep! I just got this when I was multiquoting so I didn't make three posts.
