Can't import from Outlook Express to Netscape?

At work, my Outlook Express has disappeared. Never saw anything like it -- the shortcut just does nothing. msimn.exe just doesn't work, no matter where I call it from. I even reinstalled Internet Explorer, and it's just gone.

I see my mailbox folders are all still there, and the address book. I saved copies of them to another folder for safekeeping. I decided to try to set up with Netscape for email, and it has an Import utility, but it seems to expect them to be .mbx files, not the .dbx files that I see. I tried changing the extensions to .mbx, but that didn't work either. The whole Netscape Import utility left me confused.

I did get the address book, but I'm new to Netscape, and keep looking for a way to have the Address Book showing in a frame on the side like OE has it. I can only call it up as a separate window, which persists when I close Netscape.

Any help? Netscape Help is no help

Thanks

while I'm at it, I now discover that NS doesn't seem to be able to handle multiple accounts, or Identities, lik OE does. At work with OE I had two identities, one for the company email system, one for my personal email at the ISP. At least I can't yet find anything about that
