The chip info is

IQYHA 0348SPMW

I flashed to the latest bios on epox (10/25/02)

Showed up as unknown cpu.

Is there anyway to have it show up at the correct multiplier?

I presume you are using 266Mhz FSB? The reason it is showing up as "Unknown CPU" is because you are not running it at a manufacturer's speed. If you set it to 200x11 then it would show up as Athlon XP 3200+ because that is the speed set by AMD.

The mobile chips are all 266MHz FSB. Try the "wire mod." BTW, what board is this Imaginer?

BTW, I managed to make it reach 2.088 GHz with a 166 FSB and 13x multiplier. Any higher on the multiplier and it will not read correctly on post. And I would reach 200Mhz but the AIW Radeon card gets finicky about AGP speeds.

Since this is a Mobile chip, is there a software speed adjustment tool?

Yeah.

So does this mean I cannot surpass 12.5 at all without modding?

The bios showed it as 13x

Looks like it. The wire mod does work, but be careful where you place the wires.

Do I have to worry about the FSB selection? Or do I just adjust it for its stock FSB and multiplier?
