Can't get x10 to run on computer

Tried both, com 1 and 2. The communication test fails. The remote control pad works fine, so it's on the computer end. Suggestions?

forgive me but I can't really recognise what your problem is! could you explain it a little more fully?

did you set your com port properly? you might need to set it to 9600 or so. and the remote control is not commnicating with your X10 computer interface unit anyway, it's communicating with the reciever (the one with the antenna).

esung,would you mind telling us what this is all about. your posting would suggest some sort of wireless device.
