Can't get Video In of WinTV-D to work

I tried hooking up my tivo to the video in of the WinTV-D but I couldn't get it to work. Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong? I'm using VirtualDub 1.4c and set the source to composite just like I used to with my TV Wonder VE but I just get a blue screen.
