can't get usb headset to work!?

it keeps saying the device isn't recognized & when I run the drivers (cd) it doesn't recognize that my headsets plugged in? I've tried to uninstall the driver and install the driver from my disk but no matter what it keeps saying it already has the most updated driver for this device??.. so I need you help to fix this.. it's a SADES mic & earphone headset model sa901 I have windows seven & it's an older computer 2006 maybe? I'm also pretty sure the chipset's upto date via device manager. any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I am sure you have tried different ports on your machine, do you have a different computer you can try it on?

yes I've tried all the ports front & back. I have another computer to try it out on and if it works on that then what's the cause of it? ideas are welcome. thanks

if it tell you this.your usb port are fine.so lets see on another pc first.

I tried on another pc, same story different day.. :/ what should I do now?? the headset powers up and the lights come on.. so idk that the problem is..

well the headset is probably defect
