Can't get TV-Out to work on ATI 9800 Pro

I have an MSI 9800 Pro with TV-Out. I'm using XP and select the 2nd monitor in the display control panel and check "Extend my desktop to this monitor," but it won't stick. I rebooted and nothing works. I tried both regular cables and S-Video. Anyone had this problem? UPDATE: I got it working. Loose cable. *side*

go to display/ settings/ advanced the click the ati tab that says displays and turn on the second monitor. Then you might still need to enable in from the setting menu in windows after that.

BTW- is the a tv or a monitor?
