Cant get the Microsoft MN-730 Wireless PCI card to find my SBC 2wire router

I installed a new MS MN-730 PCI wireless card in my computer. It will not detect my SBC 2Wire router. I have a laptop that connects fine to the wireless router using a Trendnet Wireless PCIMA card, and it has a strong signal. Tha Microsoft PCI card will not even detect the router....it did find it once, but the signal went away after about a minute. The PCI card is about 12 feet away from the router. I even moved the hub closer to the pci card and still get no signal. I dont know what else to try. Can someone give me a hand with this thing? Thanks for any help guys

Are all security settings on the router and computer with MN-7xx identical?

yeah i have set the WEP key and everything and still it cannot find the router
