I have an asus k7m with superbypass revision. It supposedly supports the slota tbird. However, i cannot seem to get it to be stable at all at 900mhz or above. The system will just randomly freeze or it wont load windows. I have the latest km 132 bios in it. All my bios settings are default as well, except superbypass is disabled and agp aperture is set to 128. I have a gfd as well and no matter how high i up the voltage, the processor is just unstable at anything from 900 mhz and above. what is wrong???

I had to update the BIOS on my ka7 (slot a kx133) to be able to boot above 900. If you have an outdated BIOS, you may just need to upgrade.

From what I've heard, 900mhz was the reason that the KT133 and sockets became nessisary. The timings became too tight at ~900mhz and above for Slot Tbirds with their long trace lengths, to function perfectly all the time. If you can adjust bus timings, you might be able to get it to do 900mhz.

you see the processor IS A 900mhz tbird. It should run at its default speed, but it just locks up. When i put it to 950 mhz it is fine, i do get some random lockups though. It seems only 850 and below is perfectly stable. Anyone else with a tbird and a asus k7m get their 900mhz to run. If so please respond with bios settings or other tricks you may have used to get it to work.
