Cant get sleep mode to work with Win2k + K7S5A because of Lan driver

Im running Windows 2000 Professional on an ECS K7S5a with a 1.4Ghz Athlon and when I try to use the sleep mode by pressing the key on the keyboard it says that it cannot do it because the drivers for the LAN do not allow is. Im using the drivers suggested by the motherboard manual. Any suggestions?

I can get my computer to sleep but can't get it to recover. It doesn't bother me because I have a RC5 client running 20/7.

I have a similar rig.
