Can't get scroll wheel to work in XP Pro

I've had this happen on a couple different machines, but I have no clue *how* - I just go to use the computer one day, and the scroll wheel doesn't scroll, no matter how far/fast I move it. It still works as a middle mouse button, but no scrolling Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this? At the moment I have a USB Logitech Trackman Wheel, but I've had this happen with plain old mice, too. What I've tried so far:

- different USB ports
- uninstalling / re-installing Microsoft's default driver
- installing Logitech's own SetPoint software & driver

All to no avail - the scroll wheel still won't scroll.

Sure have. They look right, and changing them seems to have no effect - still can't scroll using the wheel. I've also tried using a USB --> PS2 adapter to see if that would change anything, but it hasn't. I know the wheel on this thing works, though - I've used it on other machines.

Try a different mouse. That should tell you if it is the mouse or the software.
