Can't get rid of desktop image.

Hi all,
On my Win XP machine my daughter had somehow managed to place an image on her desktop that we can't get rid of. I 've tried the usual stuff...selecting no background at all, trying another background but it hangs on no matter what.
The image does not show any "properties" when I right click on it either.
Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

Right-click on the Desktop -> Active Desktop and try unchecking the Web Content.
