can't get rid of coolwebsearch and adrotator

So, my computer is infested with the coolwebsearch adware and the trojan adrotator along with some other smaller spyware/adware. I have tried so many programs and I cannot get rid of these things. I've tried ad-ware, spybot, spyware doctor, spysweeper, and avg anti-spyware. Is there anything I can do? Any programs I haven't tried? or do I have to do it manually. I'm trying to save myself a full reinstall which would require hours of work.

Superantispyware is another very effective remover (the free version will remove stuff, the paid version adds real-time protection): http://www.superantispyware.com Try running that, and the Kaspersky stand-alone virus remover, while the system is running in Safe Mode.

well the superantispyware didn't work i'm going to try kaspersky now

If nothing else works then maybe a HJL log.

this guide by mechbgon http://www.mechbgon.com/build/security2.html is a great guide to prevent such from happening, most times when a sys is infected badly only a reload will fix it, prevention is the key.

So I think John's malware removal guide did the trick. I cannot find and more of the coolwebsearch and adrotator on my computer anymore. thanks for the help. but in reply to blazer's comment. i usually am really good at keeping my computer clean. this almost never happens. what happened was I got stupid and ran a program that had the spyware on it. I should have scanned the file first. I know what to do next time. thanks again for the help

so now i'm trying to get rid of fotomoto and it's not wanting to go away. spyware doctor says its infected in 30 places. i'm beginning to think that spyware doctor doesn't really remove anything or maybe fotomoto has that thing where it recreates itself like coolwebsearch does
