I've tried everything in my limited know how to get rid of a temp file in my windows temp folder. I get a message that drive is full or write protected, which neither is the case, or file is being used. I have shut down every app running in the background using Contol/Alt/Delete and rebooted numerous times and still can't delete it. It's beginning to bother me now. Would booting into safe mode work? Any other ideas?

Nevermind, got rid of it! AdAware took care of it, Can't believe I didn't think of that sooner.

Ok, the temp file is back. Don't know why or how it came back, but it's back. The latest version of AdAware doesn't detect it or delete it now. I'm stumped! Any help would be appreciated.

I have & use Seige's Window Washer which sounds like it is pretty much the same type of utility you suggested.

The name of the file is Zlt3000.tmp and is 256 bytes in size.

Delete the whole directory. The directory will be remade when you reboot, hopefully without that file.

Jerry, tried your suggestion of deleting the directory but the temp file shows up upon rebooting. Thanks anyway!
