can't get raid to work in Windows XP, I have raid enabled in bios, I have 2 western digetal 40 gig hard drives, when I switch the jumper to raid, I reboot from cdrom, setup ask me to install raid drivers and I try and I keep getting the same error, I tried the updated drivers to, this is what the error says:
File \winxp\fasttrek.sys caused a unexpected error (18) at line 2108 in d:\xplient\base\boot\setup\oemdisk.c
Please help, I've been trying to figure this out for 3 days

Hi, I have the same MB and had the same problem installing it, after messing around I found out what the problem is and the solution for it, just follow the instructions.

Copy to a diskette all 3 files from soyo cd \RAID\promise\Raid Family Driver
Copy the folder with the files in it from soyo cd \RAID\promise\Raid Family Driver\WinXP to the diskette
The diskette should then have the first 3 files in A:\ and a folder named WinXP with other 3 files.
Insert the diskette when promted and select to install the WinXP promise drivers

The problem was that the winXP setup was looking for some files in a:\ and for other files on the A:\WinXP folder.
Your problem should be solved now, good luck, bye.
