Can't get R7-370 to work in Intel DP45SG Motherboard

I wanted to move my GTX 960 to another build and install my new Gigabyte R7-370 in my Intel DP45SG build. But the Intel board doesn't recognize the card. No display, no beep code. CPU and GPU fans spin, but nothing else. The board has the latest BIOS available.

The card is good because it works in my other 775 board from that same era (MSI). It is strange that the new UEFI BIOS GTX 960 works with no issues, but the more legacy-like BIOS of the R7-370 is not recognized. I would have expected just the opposite. And the Intel board is even AMD Crossfire capable. So I'm shocked the AMD card isn't recognized.

Am I just stuck with the situation, or is there a solution? Thanks.

Intel DP45SG (latest BIOS)

Corsair TX650M PSU

I've had problems with a MSI R9 290 in a gigabyte amd 970 board. It mostly works in legacy mode but is wonky with fan speeds/control. Card works fine in a asrock uefi p67 mobo.

Thanks for the replies, guys.
Does the R7-370 have a UEFI BIOS?! I thought AMD still stayed with a more-legacy type non-UEFI BIOS. Either way, my UEFI BIOS GTX 960 works in the board w/o a glitch. So even if it had a UEFI BIOS, I would expect it to be recognized as well as the Nvidia card. That's what has me befuddled.

Definately a weird situation. I haven't tried a full driver uninstall and the latest drivers on my 8350 system with the 290 (which has a switch on it for the two bios modes) to be sure. The card seemingly working fine on the intel system pointed to the mobo being the problem for me. It just doesnt like the card.

Have you updated the bios; I know some older boards won't see cards without a bios update

Yes, the board has the latest BIOS available. I even set it to UEFI boot mode in BIOS. Still no joy.
