Generic 300 Watt PS (I already blew up the good one)
It simply hangs at the hard drive id screen and sometimes it beeps (at first it just hung, then when I changed slots and really pushed down on the card it started beeping as well). I take the card out and it boots fine I put the card back in and it hangs.
Tried disabling all onboard IDE, tried it with and without anything plugged into it. And yes I have tried several PCI Slots and made sure the card was inserted properly.
Tried several settings in the bios. I checked for updated bios but did not see any that addressed this problem so I don't want to flash unless I know it will solve the problem.
I have two hard drives Maxtor 20 Gig and Quantum 18 Gig, and Pioneer 10X DVD Rom drive and a Generic 44X CDrom drive. I just got an internal Zip Drive, the external one works fine but its parrallel and its slow as sh*t.
I need this card to work to keep all my devices in the system and add the internal zip. I watch DVDs and some CDs don't work or install correctly on the DVD (Diablo II).
Any suggestions??????????
