Cant get PC to find digital camera

I have a fuji mx700. All the correct drivers are on the system,have checked and they are most recent also.I have also set up all the com ports, 3 is my modem, 1,2 and 4 are free. I cant get the pc to find my camera. When I load the fuji program it often comes back that the camera may not have power or the system freezes. This has worked fine on another pc I have. I am stuck and have no more ideas. Any help appreciated. Thanks
