Can't get my Lite-On DVD-ROM detected in bios

I have it on the same IDE cable as my DVD-RW. The ROM is set to master and the RW is set as slave. I made sure the cables were in all the way 3 times. The power is definitly working as I am able to open and close both drives. But in bios it says Primary IDE Master : Not Detected.

Please help🙁

Yes, I believe all RW drives should be set as master. I've noticed some manufacturers actually state this in
their set up guides.
