Can't get MS Intellimouse to work on IBM Thinkpad...

I have installed the drivers (4.0) for a MS Intellimouse on an IBM Thinpad with one of those red trackpoint pointing devices. The mouse works fine, but it will not recognize the scroll button - i.e., I can't click or scroll with it...

I did install the correct driver, and I did set it up for the Intellimouse - but it is not recognized as such. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Cheers,

I am running IBM Thinkpad T21 with Microsoft Intellimouse in Win2k. Didn't need to install any driver. The wheel and everything is working fine.

don't use Intellipoint 4.0. You won't see anything. It will actually slower then you double click on the mouse properties in the control panel. If you want, go with the 3.2 one but I still think the default driver from OS is better. I use the default driver from the OS and it works much better than the 4.0 one.
