can't get motherboard to post??

Need a little help here. I have taken out the battery and also installed a pci video card but i cannot get any kind of screen?? The fans turn on but no video?? Any ideas would be very helpful! Has worked before!

If there are no beeps and fans come on this is often a dead cpu...
can you try another cpu in the mobo....I made this mistake and bought a second mobo and found out it was a dead cpu...

Also make sure you have the cpu fan in fan header one...this can cause a problem on the Abit K7TA

Also could be memory too. Make sure everything is seated.
