Cant get mobo to post.......need help!!!

I have a Tyan Tiger mobo, brand new. Brand new eVGA GF3 Ti 200. Brand new AMD Approved 420W ps. Brand new Crucial registered memory (4 sticks of 256).

I have tried to get the mobo to post using:

one, then two cpu's.......they are new 1gig T'birds - and, yes T'birds will work in a dual system - maybe not this one, but they will work!!
various sticks of memory in different banks. Used just one, then 2, then 3, then 4. Used banks 1, 3........2, 4......etc. etc.
different video cards.
different AMD approved power supplies.
I have reset the CMOS in between each change I made.

All of the components get warm when I power up. CPU's get warm, CPU fans work, CPU heatsinks get warm. Video card fan works and the heatsink gets warm. All the memory modules get warm.

I asked for help before with this setup and got various suggestions.......I have tried them all, nothing worked.

Someone pointed out that Crucial memory has had compatibility problems with Tyan mobos and even gave me the model numbers of the memory. Every stick I have is the model with the compatibility issues.

What I am trying to find out before I invest a whole bunch of money on new memory, or anything else for that matter, is:

With everything seeming to be working (because everything gets warm when I power up) could any or all of the components "work" in one sense, but not work in another? Could the memory get warm, but still have compatibility issues? Same with the vid card, cpu's, etc.

Any help or direction will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

I would buy some memory from a brick an morter store. That way you wont be stuck with more memory if it doesn't work.
Will non-working parts get hot?? Yeah! Anything you run electricty though will get hot.
Have your tried running with just 1 stick of memory?
