Can't get Linksys Etherfast to work in win2000!

Drivers won't install unless I force them to be...and I can't get connected to the internet...

dunno what else to explain about it...

moms computer is a p3 600, 128mb ram, virge GX, linksys etherfast..


btw, we are running on ADSL...
 
There are like 6 versions of this card. Make sure you get the right drivers from Linksys's site. You have to actually look at the card to know which one you have and compare it to the descriptions/pictures on their site.
 
Version 4.2 is what I have...

When you say "use the drivers from the disk" do you mean the WinNT 351 drivers? Cuz there is no folder called Win2000 (although in the past I could have SWORN there was)

The drivers install, but not easily...
 
I use the Linksys card in 2k with no problems..check the driver to make sure its the right one, I had that problem once
