can't get into many sites

have been having some weird trouble since moving over to MSI Turbo board. Have following:

DSL connection
am using entenet software
have tried every version of browser
have tried win 98, win2k & me
is not my provider as other computer in house has no problem,

Can't get into some very NB sites. i.e. MSI(for bioses)
roxio.com, amdmb.com etc etc etc

this has me very confused. is there any way it could be something funny with this board.

Try moving your NIC to a different PCI slot.

What brand NIC is it? If it's one I've tried with that board, I can tell you if it is a compatibility problem.

I had it in slot 6 and moved it to slot 2 My live is in slot 3 . You seem to know of which you speak. I remeber the issues that I had with asus a7v slots. could this be another slot prob?

I've had multiple problems getting the 3Com cards to work on the K7T Turbo motherboards. Some models will, some won't.

I have used the D-Link DFE-530TX with no problems, but the TX+ doesn't work.

Sometimes moving all the cards around until finding the right setup will make the 3Com work. That card and the MSI board don't seem to manage resources well.

Also, what version of the 4in1 drivers are you using? What version of Liveware? The later 4in1's are better, as is Liveware 3.0.

Also, I don't think Slot 6 is busmastering so it's generally not a good idea to use it unless absolutely necessary.

Russ; My DLink is a 538TX. I tried with no luck, but you suggest that the TX don't work with the Turbo. I don't think it is the Liveware because because problem existed prior to SB install. What NIC do you suggest. I can't get into the MSI BIOS sites for downloads even though I can get into their main sites.
