Try a keyboard with a PS2 connection.

Yeah, I've had that problem when I OC too much with my mobo. Use a USB->PS\2 connector. This should get you into the BIOS, and you can change settings, and enable support for a USB mouse and keyboard.

I have the same problem only worse. I tried to use a wireless logitech keyboard/mouse. It failed and now the wired keyboard will not work at all. I have tried the keyboard on another computer (it works fine) checked connections (seem fine) but no power to the keyboard (no lights, etc.) Bios posts, but fails cmos checksum and I can't get into the bios setup to change to a usb keyboard.

Am I a dead duck? This is Biostar M7VIG socket A board.

Thanks

Try removing the battery & clearing the cmos with the jumper. Worked for me once with this problem.
