can't get internet connection sharing to work w/my adsl.....HELP!

i have an internal, 3com adsl modem w/bellsouth fastaccess.....2 computers r networked using just nic's and crossover cable.....wat's the friggin problem ......please help
 
what problem u getting??? you have the network protocols setup properly? are you running the ICS wizard? do you have internet connection on the one computer?? we need more info...
 
Tell us what you've done so far.. and what errors (if any) you're getting, can you see each other in netwerk neighbourhood?
 
im assuming they can see each other...

server computer: set ip to 192.168.0.1 on the hub nic.
clinet computer: set ip to 192.168.0.2, dns & gateway to 192.168.0.1

an easier way is to enable ICS on your modem NIC and everything should fall into place.
 
thnx everybody but b4 i could check back to this thread......i got it working ........i had forgotten to check the box under dial up networking that said "log on to network"......that fixed me rite up
