I have RedHat7 and a riva tnt card. I downloaded the rpms off of nvidia's site for their accelerated drivers, and can't get GL to work now...
I did rpm -i on both the rpms and the NVIDIA_KERNEL one installed fine, but the NVIDIA_GLX one ran across some files it didn't like and renamed them. I didn't think much of it and went on to edit my XF86Config file. I changed two settings in there to driver="nvidia", and restarted X. I got into X fine, but nothing in GL will work. I read the FAQ on nvidia's site, but nothing on that worked.
I tried doing rpm -e to both NVIDIA_KERNEL and NVIDIA_GLX and then replacing the XF86Config with a backup, restarted X, got into X fine, but still no GL...
Can anybody help? Thanks, in advanced, for any info.
