Just purchased parts to build a new computer and I am using an Asrock 939DUAL-SATA2 mobo. I installed windows xp pro but cannot get the ethernet port to work. I can't connect to my router or anything. I have tried multiple cables too nothings working.

Did you install the Motherboard Chipset Drivers ? ?
How about the Driver for the NIC interface ? ?
Have a look in Device Manager for any Yellow ? ? marks ... See any ? ?
If so, find out what they are and install the drivers for them
You can use a program called Unkown Device Identifier to tell you what / who they are
if you do not already know. Your Asrock should have come with all the drivers on a cd

All the drivers you need are here: http://www.asrock.com/mb/downl...Model=939Dual-SATA2&s=

The LAN Card / Port needs this one: ftp://download.asrock.com/driv..._XP_2K_ME_98(3.50).zip
