Can't get Easy CD Creator 4 to work in WinMe with Plextor 12/4/32 SCSI CD-RW

I had no problems in Win98. I've done a fresh install and i can read from the Plextor CD-RW, but Easy CD Creator won't work. I've tried the updates to 4.03, but it says nothing about official WinMe on Adpatecs site. I've updated my CD-RWs firmware to the lastest version 1.06. I must get this program to work. Any Suggestions?

I think adaptec is up to 403e. This is what I use for my plextor 12x10x32S. I use winme also and the program wouldnt close a session until I put my system in agp 2x mode. Weird but it works.

I think that's your sign to move on to something else .... like Nero. But be sure to remove all traces of Adaptec/Roxio in your system including registry first before installing Nero or any other program. Adaptec doesn't like other burning software concurrently installed for the most part.

I love adaptec for standard copying and stuff. But for serious backups I use cdr-win. I played with nero about a year ago and found way too complicated (and Im a network engineer, go figure). Maybe I should give it another shot.

Oyeve, I find Nero easy to use, its not rocket sciece, I tend to use their Wizard to get started
