Can't get controller drivers working right

My adapters/controllers are supposed to support rumble, but i've never been able to get it working in XP SP2 (don't think OS matters though). Not sure why it's not working, got the right drivers and everything. Anyone here have experience with rumble/vibration feedback for controllers on PC? Trying to use PS2 controllers. Thanks.
