My wife manages a retail store with 2 computers that also function as registers. Everything was fine until we went on vacation...when we returned, it seems that the girls in the store were tinkering with the machines and screwed something up with printing from machine #2.
Both systems are WIN2000. They are connected through a hub. The printer is an HP LaserJet 1300, connected on DOT4_002 on machine #1. The client sees the server, and actually shares the register software through the network. The printer is set up as "shared," on #1 and has a unique name, but when I try to "add printer" from #2, it looks for a network printer but does not find one. Any tips on what to try?
