I've already posted this in the CPU board, but it seems now it's more a problem with the motherboard (was from the beginning really). I just bought a 2500+ to replace my old Palomino 2000+ since it was topping off around 1.78Ghz. I put the new chip in my ASUS A7V333, booted up, and there was no video. After resetting the CMOS and checking the vid card connection a few times, I gave up with the new chip and put the old one back in. Unfortunately after rebooting again, the video still didn't work. I swapped vid cards from another computer, but still nothing.

The A7V333 I have is an older version apparently, which as I found out the hard way (gotta love your first computer building experience) is incompatible with the 333 FSB of the Barton. Anyways, I'm thinking I've messed something on my mobo up from all of this (2nd time I've screwed this one up, last time was accidental over-overclock, which is funny because it is almost the same thing I did this time, except this time it was the processor itself, not the configuration that did me in - at least I won't do it again... I hope). Anyone has any advice as to what should be my next course of action (I already e-mailed ASUS about this), I'd love to hear it. Also if there's anywhere aside from ASUS that one could get a mb fixed at, I would love to know, because ASUS takes about 2-3 weeks to fix it.
