can't get an A8V to post with two DIMMs in

I have a pair of identical kingston 512mb HyperX dimms, which i am trying to use in dual channel mode on an Asus A8V motherboard winth an 3200+ winchester processor. I booted up with one in slot b1 and flashed the bios so that i could use the winchester, but ever since, wherever i try and put in teh second dimm, it refuses to post. Both dimms are good - i hafve tried them both separately. It is only when i put both of them in (in the two blue slots), it stops working. Can you guys help??

DIdi you try putting them in different slots to make sure that you need to put them in those 2 blue slots?
